Master of Science in Sport Business Orientation Information

Welcome to the Master of Science in Sport Business program!

A mandatory orientation will be held on Thursday, August 24th & Friday, August 25th.

The general schedule for orientation activities will be as follows – more details will be sent to your new Temple University email address as the dates get closer.

Thursday, August 24th

Outdoor Social

Location: Tennis Courts 1 & 2 (Temple’s campus – enter on 15th St between Norris and Montgomery)
Time: 5pm-6:30pm
Dress: Business Casual (Example: polo shirt and nice pants)

The M.S. in Sport Business Peer Leaders and Jim Alton have arranged to have this fun welcome event for all of you.  We will have music, lawn games, etc.  Second year students will also be in attendance to welcome you to Temple University and our program. Pizza and water will be provided.

Friday, August 25th

Orientation Sessions

Location: Alter Hall (Room TBD)

Time: 8:30am-4:30pm

Dress: Business Professional

This day will include a number of sessions designed to prepare you for success in the M.S. in Sport Business program. You will hear from administrators and faculty in the program, alumni, current students, and campus representatives throughout the day.  This is a mandatory session as we review your curriculum, the program, frequently asked questions, etc. We will also be doing professional headshots and business professional attire is required for this purpose.
