An STHM and SBDC Initiative
In partnership with Temple University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC), STHM has created the Center for Hospitality Resilience. The center’s mission is to develop programming to provide assistance to the many small tourism and hospitality businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19. Through a series of industry-focused webinars, small business initiative reviews and consulting projects, the center seeks to be a reliable resource for small tourism, hospitality and event businesses to respond to the evolving landscape. All services provided by the Center for Hospitality Resilience are free of charge to eligible small business operators.
Small Business Initiative Reviews
As small business operators continue to modify their operations and plan for a future post COVID-19, the center will provide feedback and direction on various operational and marketing initiatives to help small businesses in making informed decisions. To engage in this service, you will need to first register with the SBDC. Once SBDC eligibility has been established, you will complete an informational form to outline your specific needs.
Following a review of this information and a brief interview, you will be assigned to a reviewer who will provide the necessary insight and direction to be able to implement your initiative. Initiative reviews will commence in August 2020.
