The Real Madrid–Universidad Europea Graduate School and the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) have signed a collaboration agreement to promote comprehensive education in sport management. This agreement provides students with practical, in-depth knowledge on how to become an expert in all areas of sport, from marketing and communication to business management in the industry.

Through this collaboration, students can complete a dual degree—a master of science in sport business and a master of business administration in sport management—that will begin at Temple University and end at the Real Madrid-Universidad Europea Graduate School over a period of two years. This includes the White Week experience—a benchmark event in the sport industry in which students have the unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends in sport from some of the industry’s top professionals. This agreement provides Temple University’s programs with an exceptional international experience that grows out of the tradition and renowned know-how of the Graduate School. This hybrid study program combines the best of online training with the most valuable campus-based education, offering students comprehensive training that spans 360 degrees.

“We are very proud of the agreement reached by these two leading institutions of higher education,” says Emilio Butragueño, General Manager of the Real Madrid–Universidad Europea Graduate School. “This alliance between the Real Madrid-Universidad Europea Graduate School and Temple University has been established to offer a high-level international education that boosts our students in their development toward a successful career in the world of sports. For Universidad Europea and the Real Madrid-Universidad Europea Graduate School, this is now the fifth agreement that we have signed with an American university, which demonstrate our commitment to and plan for strategic expansion of our academic model in the U.S.”

“In Real Madrid Graduate School, we have a partner that shares our mission to seek to connect, inspire and educate future professionals and also drive the economic impact of the sport industry around the world,” says STHM’s Senior Associate Dean and Professor, Jeremy Jordan. “This collaboration expands learning opportunities for our students into a new market and gives them an invaluable global perspective that they can translate into any number of career paths.”

The Real Madrid experience

Enrollees in this international study program can take part in White Week, an annual event for students with the participation of leading figures from the world of sport. All of this is a great opportunity for students to establish international networks in an environment that brings out their entrepreneurial spirit, through specialized guidance that empowers them as they prepare to launch their professional experiences.

An international focus in two unique cities
