STHM’s Executive in Residence series annually welcomes accomplished and veteran business executives to Temple University, for personalized discussions on topics relevant to the tourism, hospitality, sport, and recreation management industries.

Dr. Joris Drayer, from Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) has been elected to a prominent three-year leadership term with the Sport Marketing Association (SMA).

The national reputation of Temple University’s PhD program in Business Administration with a concentration in Tourism and Sport continues to flourish.

Leaders from the American Athletic Conference and its 12 all-sport member schools visited Temple University to speak to students in an inaugural Senior Woman Administrators (SWA) symposium.

Graduates from Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management (STHM) drove from as far away as Connecticut, New York, and Washington, D.C. Some even hopped flights from California and the United Kingdom.

Nearly 120 seniors from STHM interned in locales across the country and around the globe during the Spring 2017 academic semester.
