Outside of her professional work, she remains actively involved in the running community in her hometown of Atlanta through volunteer efforts.

Darshell A. Brown is a compassionate leader with over 20 years of experience in coordinating and leadership roles across government and private sectors. As a certified relationship coach and matchmaker, she uses her interpersonal skills and expertise to support individuals at various stages of life. Through her inspirational guides and relationship coaching, she provides practical tools for personal growth and emotional well-being.

Kaitie Burger, MS `23
Kaitie Burger is the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Tourism Office, a division of the Commonwealth’s Department of Community and Economic Development. A native of the state, she has nearly 15 years of experience in destination marketing, beginning her career on the DMO side at Discover Lehigh Valley before transitioning to agency life at Madden Media.

While at Madden, Kaitie led client accounts across the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast, overseeing projects recognized by the Adrian Awards, Hermes Creative Awards, and US Travel ESTO Awards. She is a former Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Tourism Public Relations Alliance.
Kaitie holds a BA in Media & Communications from Muhlenberg College and a MS in Travel & Tourism from Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism & Hospitality Management. She is an alumna of Destination International’s 30 Under 30 program and currently serves as Alumni Board President at Muhlenberg College. Kaitie resides in Bethlehem, PA
Kacie Corbitt, BS `08
After graduating from Temple University, Kacie Corbitt (Sheppeck) entered the sports/hospitality and events industry. She has experience in sports, non-profit/associations, third-party planning, and corporate planning.
Kacie currently resides in South Philadelphia with her husband, two cats, and a dog. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and attending Phillies games

Andrea Daniels, BS `03
Andrea currently serves as Director, Distribution Partnerships for IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG). She is an experienced Head of Distribution and Intermediary Sales Strategy leader with demonstrated history and over 20+ years working in the lodging, travel, tourism, and hospitality industry.

Andrea also serves as an Adjunct Professor at University of Southern California (USC) and at Kennesaw State University (KSU).

Ting Fan, BBA `18, MS `21
Ting Fan is an innovative thinker, detail-oriented organizer, and creative event planner with a background in hospitality, education, and program coordination. Her primary focus is planning, coordinating, and overseeing the logistics of various TCLAC Special Programs to deliver the best service to students.

Currently serving as a Programs Coordinator for a university language and culture program, she is also pursuing a certificate in Institutional Effectiveness to further strengthen her expertise in educational development.

Currently, I serve as the Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Temple University’s College of Liberal Arts, where I cultivate meaningful alumni relationships, advance fundraising initiatives, and enhance engagement within the Temple community.
My career spans over 15 years at the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP), where I played a key role in fundraising, volunteer management, and celebrating Black history and culture. Beyond my professional work, I have been deeply involved in service organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
As a proud graduate of Temple’s School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management, I embody Temple spirit along with a strong background in the sports and hospitality industries, since I have either worked with or for every sports team here in my city!
I am also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where I have held leadership roles supporting the arts, cultural initiatives, and our sisterhood.
With a passion for mentorship, engagement, and service, I am excited for the opportunity to bring my experience, energy, and love for Temple to the role of Director-at-Large for the STHM Alumni Association.
Haley Shinn, MS `22
Haley Shinn is a dedicated professional in college athletics and higher education, with a passion for working with student-athletes. A proud STHM alum with a Masters in Sport Business with a concentration in Analytics, Shinn is an advocate for women working in the intersection of sports, data and finance.

Shinn joined the Rutgers University-Camden Athletic Department in July 2023 as the Assistant Director of Athletics and Recreation and Senior Woman Administrator, where her primary duties include serving as the business manager , the human resource liaison and working with the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Shinn also serves as an Adjunct PRofessor with Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management.
Haley has several responsibilities within the New Jersey Athletic Conferences, serving on the Board of Administrators, the Awards Committee, and as the Women’s Tennis Sport Chair. She completed the NCAA Senior Woman Administrator Program in March of 2025 and is a member of College Athletics Business Managers Association.
Since graduating from STHM in 2022, Shinn has remained active in the community, engaging in events, professional development, and education. She looks forward to the opportunity to show her dedication to the school who shaped her into the professional she is today.
