Your Complete STHM Fall Alumni Event Guide
Alumni, your experience doesn’t have to end with graduation from Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management. There’s many alumni events throughout the fall that provide exclusive opportunities to network and stay connected to the Temple community.
“Our fall events showcase the different ways alumni can engage with their alumni associations,” says Kelly O’Donnell, alumni relations officer for STHM. “There are opportunities to celebrate together, expand your networks and grow professionally.”
Whether you enjoy connecting with others, going out into the city or pursuing professional development, there’s events for everyone.
Here’s a roundup of some of the alumni events to look forward to this fall season.
STHMAA Homecoming Happy Hour
Friday, Oct. 6, 6-8 p.m.
Love City Brewing
Come kick off Temple’s Homecoming Weekend with your fellow STHM alumni! Join us for a Friday night happy hour in the city to begin the weekend’s festivities.
STHMAA Homecoming Tailgate
Saturday, Oct. 7
Tailgate begins at 10:30 a.m.
Kickoff is at 2 p.m.
Lincoln Financial Field, Lot K
Come join your fellow STHM alumni, faculty, staff and friends at the annual STHMAA Homecoming Tailgate celebration! Enjoy provided games, music, drinks and more as you prepare to cheer on the Owls!
This celebration will feature many alumni-owned businesses, including Bare Hand Love Catering, owned by former NFL player and STHM alum Rian Wallace.
STHM MAC Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
Monday, Oct. 9, 6-8 p.m.
Join STHM’s Minority Alumni Coalition (MAC) in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month at Loco Pez in South Philadelphia! The registration is free, and light and delicious refreshments will be provided. Drinks are pay-as-you-go!
