PA Recreation and Park Society elect new Student Director

Zurrell Toney has been elected for the 2015- 2016 term to be on the board of directors. Zurrelll is a Temple University senior earning his bachelor’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management from the school of Tourism and Hospitality Management. He has a passion for youth development, education, community outreach, recreation and sports.
After graduation, Zurrell hopes to hold a job as a Program Director and move on to be an Executive Director at the Metro Atlanta YMCA, Boys and Girls Club of America Headquarters, Police Athletic League or at one of Georgia’s Park and Recreation branches. He would like to one day open his own recreation centers in Georgia and Philadelphia.
“With the passion I bring, I intend to not only become an asset but also the person that’ll help (an organization) move forward and adapt to the changing needs of our most vulnerable youth.”
