Academic Merit Scholarships

At the time of admission, all students are automatically considered for academic scholarships, no separate application is required. The value and volume of merit scholarships we can offer is determined by the availability of funding, as well as the size, quality and characteristics of the entire applicant pool.

Additional Scholarship Resources

Beyond the first-year, STHM continues to support undergraduate students with additional scholarship opportunities thanks to the generosity of our donors. Financial Aid

At Temple, about 79 percent of first-year students receive need-based financial aid. Assistance is available to eligible students in the form of scholarships, grants, loans and work-study programs. Other types of aid, such as employer tuition remission and veterans’ benefits are also offered.

Federal Student Aid

Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for federal financial aid. Prior Year FAFSA filing begins Oct. 1 (use your prior year tax year data), with a priority filing deadline of February 1. Priority consideration is given to applications received and completed by this date. After February 1, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
