Admissions Documents
For timely processing, we encourage you to prepare the following materials prior to submitting your application.
Resume | A current résumé or CV detailing your professional experience, regardless of employment status, is required. |
Transcripts | Transcripts are required from each academic institution you attended and earned credit for coursework. Additional documentation may be required for non-US academic institutions, such as marksheet and diploma. For such institutions, please review these guidelines from Temple University’s Graduate School. |
Letters of Recommendation | At least one letter of Recommendation is required. Professional references from an immediate supervisor, current or past, are preferred. Academic references are acceptable. After submission, you enter your reference’s contact information through the application portal. References are then invited to upload their letters of recommendation. |
Statement of Goals | One 500-word essay that addresses the following questions. Essays will be evaluated for content, clarity and professionalism. • What past experiences prepared or motivated you to pursue this degree? • How would you expect to change over the course of the program? • What personal and professional values and skills do you hope to acquire beyond the academic content? • How will obtaining this degree help you achieve your career goals? |
Standardized Test Scores | If you believe a test score would complement or strengthen your application, please request a test score report to be sent to Temple University (GRE: 2906 / GMAT: 72S3T52). Official scores must be reported from a GMAT or GRE test taken within the last five years. Please consult an admissions advisor with any questions. |
English Language Exam (as needed) | A test score of academic English, such as the TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic, or Duolingo test, is required if you have not earned a bachelor’s or graduate (master’s or doctoral) degree from a U.S. institution. Test scores must be reported by the testing service to Temple University within two years of the test date. |
Waiver Eligibility | Note that if you earned your undergraduate or graduate degree from a country in which English is a commonly used language, this requirement may be waived. The admissions department automatically reviews for waiver eligibility at application submission with review of your academic history. Learn more about international application. |
Interview (invite only) | Once an application is considered complete with the necessary documents, candidates will be invited to schedule a virtual interview. |
