Sport Analytics Concentration

The Sport Analytics concentration in the M.S. in Sport Business produces managers and future executives who understand the potential of data-driven decision making in the sport industry.

The Sport Analytics concentration prepares students to comprehend and apply analytical methods to issues confronting decision makers in sport organizations. Analytics includes the extensive use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, and predictive models to drive decisions. Applications of analytics to sport are used to gain insights into team and player evaluation and compensation, human resource optimization, game management, and financial strategies.

Our flexible schedule offers all courses after 5 p.m., allowing students to keep or take on full-time employment, or to pursue internships and assistantships.

A typical full course load would include 9 credits each semester, allowing the majority of students to finish the program in 4 semesters. However, students who wish to take on larger course loads may be able to finish in as few as 12 months.
