Master Of Science In Sport Business
The School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) at Temple University is excited to offer the NBRPA active membership, NBRPA staff and dependents (spouse, partner, children) of the mentioned parties a 20% tuition scholarship once admitted into any STHM undergraduate or graduate program. Additionally, the NBRPA parties and dependents will receive an application fee waiver.
With a Master of Science in Sport Business, you can advance your career with a mid- to high-level management position in this exciting, international industry. At the STHM you learn new ways to think analytically and critically about top situations facing professional sports teams, college athletics and sport business such as sport analytics, sales and promotion and event and venue management. At STHM, our program is designed so you can tailor your degree to your career goals with four industry focused concentrations. This 36-credit Master of Science in Sport Business emphasizes the theoretical foundation of sport business with an industry-specific curriculum that equips students with critical insight, strategic business principles and practical application techniques.

Athletic Administration
Gain the skills for management roles in student athletic programs. With a focus on intercollegiate athletics, the curriculum exposes students to critical issues in governance, policy-making, facility operations, fundraising, development and compliance.
Recreation and Event Management
Become a leader in the public and nonprofit sport industry sectors. This program applies critical theory and best practices in the areas of programming, event execution and fundraising.
Sport Analytics
Comprehend and apply analytical methods to issues confronting decision makers in sport organizations. The Sport Analytics concentration produces managers and future executives who understand the potential of data-driven decision making in the sport industry.
Sport Marketing and Promotions
Develop and leverage strategies that impact production, pricing, consumer behavior and distribution to generate sustainable results that innovate the game-day experience. Students in this program work with companies such as Comcast-Spectacor, IMG, LiveNation, Madison Square Garden and Octagon.
Earn a Dual Degree in MS Sport Business And MBA in Sports Management Through a Global Partnership
The MSSB has an exciting partnership with Real Madrid–Universidad Europea Graduate School allowing students to earn two degrees in as few as 24 months. Through this collaboration, students can complete a dual degree (M.S. in Sport Business / eMBA in Sports Management). Students begin the program at Temple University, take classes online with Real Madrid–Universidad Europea Graduate School and have the option to complete a two-week White Week intensive learning opportunity in Madrid, Spain.

STHM offers three innovative undergraduate degree programs that fit the interests and needs of students. Prospective students can major in Sport and Entertainment Management; Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management; or the Multidisciplinary Studies in Sport, Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management program designed for advanced transfer students.

Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management
Transform your passion for travel, hospitality and events into your dream job. Discover the skills and experience needed to start a career in hotels, casinos, restaurants, destination marketing organizations, convention and visitor bureaus and learn to plan and manage a variety of events, including fairs, festivals, conferences, social events, trade shows, exhibits, online events and special events.
Multidisciplinary Studies in Sport, Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management
Are you returning to college and have an interest in the sport, tourism, hospitality, entertainment or event industries? This degree is designed for students transferring 45 or more credits who want to make a splash in the experience industry. Capture the great aspects of STHM and become a leader in the field.
Exclusive 20% Tuition Scholarship
All NBRPA active membership, NBRPA staff and dependents (spouse, partner, children) of the mentioned parties admitted into any STHM undergraduate or graduate program will receive a guaranteed 20% tuition scholarship. Additionally, the application fee will be waived for all NBRPA active and former player membership and NBRPA staff (including dependents).
