The Workshop on Informatics, Data Science, and Economics in Hospitality and Tourism Research (WIDE-HTR) is a premier academic event dedicated to advancing hospitality and tourism research through cutting-edge data science, informatics, and applied economics. The 2026 workshop builds on the success of the inaugural event and will be held in person at Temple University, in the School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management (STHM), Philadelphia, PA.

WIDE-HTR 2026 will feature invited talks, research panels, methodological workshops, a parallel research presentation track, a poster session, and networking opportunities. The event also hosts the 3rd Temple Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Analytics Case Competition.
