STHM Prospective Student Events

If a weekday visit with the Associate Director of Recruitment doesn't fit your schedule, consider attending one of our larger, recruitment events.

A Fall Day with STHM - Wednesday, November 11 | 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location: Speakman Hall

Join the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management for a chance to learn more about its innovative and distinguished programs in Tourism & Hospitality Management and Sport & Recreation Management. A Fall Day with STHM will provide students with insight about career opportunities in tourism, hospitality, sport and recreation, while discussing the coursework and internships that it will take to start a successful career.

A campus tour and a complimentary lunch will be available after the presentation.

Registration will begin at 9:45 AM. Parking will be available at the Liacouras Center Garage, located on 15th Street, between Montgomery Ave. and Cecil B. Moore Ave. Parking is $12.00. STHM Shadow-a-Student Day - Monday, February 16 | 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location: TBD. Registration to begin at 8:45 AM.

Join the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management for a unique opportunity to be an STHM student for a day at our annual Shadow-a-Student Day. At this event, you will be grouped with other newly admitted students and a current STHM student from your major. At this event, you will be able to:

  • Sit-in on STHM courses and Core courses
  • Meet current students to get their take on campus life
  • Talk to STHM faculty about what it takes to succeed
  • See on-campus resources like the TECH Center, the Student Center and our new, future home, Speakman Hall.
  • Have lunch with current students to learn what its really like at Temple and STHM.

This event is for newly admitted students for Fall 2010 ONLY.

Parents are welcome to attend. Informational presentation, tours and lunch will be made available to parents while their students are shadowing a current STHM student.

Registration will be made available in December 2009.
