The FOX/STHM Business Honors Program

The Fox/STHM  Business Honors Program is for academically talented undergraduate students who are offered admission to the University Honors program upon their acceptance to Temple University. Candidates are considered for this program when they are evaluated for admission to Temple University. Students that are admitted to and enroll in the Fox/STHM Business Honors program are required to enroll in the Business Minor Program and are provided with a free laptop computer for their first two years at Temple. The FOX/STHM Business Honors program provides students with a unique opportunity to integrate cutting-edge business concepts into their program.

The STHM Research Scholars Program

As a Research Scholar, you are partnered with an STHM Faculty member to conduct research with your mentor during your four years in STHM. You will learn innovative research techniques, attend national conferences with your mentor and present a final thesis upon graduation. The goal of the STHM Research Scholars program is to provide opportunities for students to cultivate research skills, enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills and expand a students understanding of the sport, recreation, tourism or hospitality industries from a scholarly perspective. The STHM Research Scholars program is open to all newly admitted Freshmen students who have paid a tuition deposit indicating their intent to enroll at Temple University. Management Information Systems (MIS) Certificate Program

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Certificate is open to all students in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. The MIS Certificate is designed to produce business-oriented, technically proficient information systems professional for the sport, recreation, tourism and hospitality industries. Managers in these industries that understand how IT can solve business problems and create innovative solutions are in high-demand. The MIS Certificate opens up nearly limitless job opportunities for students who wish to enter the sport, recreation, tourism or hospitality fields. Certificate in the Geography of Sports, Recreation and Tourism Planning
