The Purpose of the STHM Student Association is to:
- Inform all enrolled STHM students and those interested in the curriculum of professional careers, internships, and to obtain additional knowledge of the Tourism, Hospitality, Sport and Recreational Industries.
- Provide Networking and social opportunities for career advancement.

Mission Statement
The Mission of the Students Association in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management is to promote professional development and to foster relationships between students and professionals through participation in pre-professional activities. The activities of the Majors Club are designed to give students opportunities to help shape their educational experiences, to be active and visible in their professional preparation, and to position themselves for success in their chosen careers. Through meetings and newsletters, the Student Association serves as the voice of students majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Sport and Recreation Management.

How do I become a member?
To become a member of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Student Association, simply fill out a membership application and return it with your membership fee. The membership fee is $10 per semester.
Membership will guarantee you:
- Discounted prices to various events
- Internship and networking opportunities
- Participation in social events
- Chances to hear the industries top executives speak
- Industry-related hours
- Community Involvement
