This distinction is important, as it is one of only two institutions that house its Ph.D. program in the Business School. 3. Curriculum. The curriculum of the program allows the student to take advantage of the best of the Tourism and Sport faculty, as well as the faculty in The Fox School of Business. Through a series of 15 doctoral-level seminars, each student will become well acquainted with the literature and research techniques of the field, as well as those fields adjacent to sport management.
4. Assistantships. Temple is committed to having all of its Ph.D. students funded as graduate assistants. All students will have the opportunity to be positioned as both research-oriented and teaching-oriented assistants. Assistantship funding is extremely competitive when compared with other Ph.D. offering institutions.
