Christopher Petrucci a Temple University School of Tourism and Hospitality Management was awarded the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association Student Tourism Award.
Chris is one of the 2012 IGLTA Student Tourism Award U.S. winners he will receive a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity all-expense paid participation in the 2012 IGLTA Conference in Florianopolis, Brazil. The International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) Student Tourism Award is an educational initiative that allows university students from around the globe to participate in the annual conference of the world's leading LGBT travel association, and network with professionals from all areas of the travel and tourism industry. In addition to attending workshops, presentations and events, student participants are assigned a daily mentor who shares first-hand experience to enhance the student's knowledge of domestic and international LGBT tourism.
