The School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) utilizes an online application process. You can start and complete your application at your own pace through the Application Portal. Due to the rolling admissions process, you are encouraged to apply as early as possible while space and scholarship funding is available.

STHM takes a holistic approach to every application. This means that every facet of an individual’s profile is considered when reviewing an application for admission. STHM does this to ensure every admitted student can meet the expectations of this graduate program.
When you apply to the Master of Science in Hospitality Management, the Admissions Committee considers a number of factors:
Professional experience (not required)
Motivation to participate in and contribute to a highly interactive learning environment
Time and willingness to commit to attending classes and participating in program-related activities
Academic and professional aptitude
Potential for professional development
Basic application requirements include:
$60 application fee (Non-refundable)
College transcripts (Degree and non-degree)
Two letters of reference
At least one of these references should come from an academic source, i.e., advisor, faculty, etc.
Individuals interested in having their academic credentials assessed prior to applying should consider completing and submitting a Pre-Application. The Pre-Applications allow you to submit information regarding your GPA, test scores and work experience and have that information evaluated by an admissions representative. An admissions representative will contact you within 48 hours with feedback on your academic profile.
