About the Program

The Master of Tourism and Hospitality Management (MTHM) program prepares future managers and executives in tourism and hospitality for areas of:

  • hotel and resort ┬ámanagement
  • tourism and destination marketing
  • gaming and casino management
  • event design and production
  • venue management
  • restaurant management

Our program offers a common core that examines key issues and trends in the industry, and students may choose from two concentrations that allow them to specialize in specific areas of management and strategic decision-making. The program is designed to be completed in 18 months and requires students to participate in a culminating consulting project with a corporate industry partner and requires an internship or project.
