The Sport Marketing and Promotions Concentration
The Sport Marketing and Promotions Concentration in the M.S. in Sport Business program gives students the tools and the skills they need to create innovative approaches to spectator and participant sport that cultivate positive fan experiences.
Students are prepared with the skills and competencies they need to understand how to develop and implement effective strategies that meet the diverse needs of sport consumers and stakeholders. With an emphasis on spectator and participant sport, students focus on production, pricing, consumer behavior and distribution in an effort to generate sustainable and innovative approaches in these essential areas.
Our flexible schedule offers all courses after 5 p.m., allowing students to keep or take on full-time employment, or to pursue internships and assistantships
during the day.
A typical full course load would include 9 credits each semester, allowing the majority of students to finish the program and earn a Sport Business Graduate Degree in 4 semesters. However, students who wish to take on larger course loads may be able to finish in as few as 12 months.
