September 30, 2009 | Spring 2010 Application Deadline Extended: The deadline to apply to STHM's distinguished Master's programs in Sport & Recreation Management and Tourism & Hospitality Management for the Spring 2010 semester has been extended to October 30th. Students can start or finish an application by visiting the Graduate School. The only item that must be received by October 30th is the application.
May 19, 2009 | Graduate Program in Sport and Recreation Amended: The University's Board of Trustees has approved innovative changes to the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management's graduate program in sport and recreation. Effective Fall 2009, the degree will move from a Master of Education in Sport and Recreation Administration (M.Ed.) to a Master of Science in Sport and Recreation Management (M.S.). The change in degree in designation will allow for greater flexibility in course offerings, more effectively represent industry preferences and avoid any confusion with regards to an affiliation with the University's College of Education.
April 20, 2009 | Fall 2009 Application Deadline Extended: After receiving a record numbers of deadline extension requests, the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management is delighted to extend its application deadline to June 1st, 2009. This extension applies to the following: Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Sport and Recreation Administration and the Master of Tourism and Hospitality Management (MTHM). Visit the Temple University Graduate School to apply. (note: the only item that must be submitted by the new deadline is the application. All application materials (i.e., transcripts, test scores, letters of recommendation, etc.) can arrive after the deadline.)
April 18, 2009 | Summer Recruitment Event Announced: On July 1, 2009, STHM will host it's annual Experience STHM Day for future graduate students. This event will provide prospective students with a unique opportunity to learn more about STHM's distinguished masters programs, meet STHM administration and faculty, and receive information on the application process.
