For Honduran soccer management professional Juan Saybe, EMSSB ’22, graduating in December from Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) was not merely a milestone. It was practically miraculous.

After an exceptionally varied career in sport management at the NCAA and professional levels, new faculty member Assistant Professor Ashley Gardner joined STHM in 2022. Here she discusses her research interests, insights on the sport industry and how STHM students set themselves apart. 

Three PhD students were distinguished for research published in a top sport, tourism or hospitality industry journal with the Dean’s Outstanding Publication Award, given Nov. 14 at the Research Roundtable Awards of the Fox School of Business and the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM).
