Scott Sisson graduated from STHM in the May of 2013 after studying Sport and Recreation Management. Scott is currently employed by the University of the Sciences in two capacities: Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach and the Meetings & Events Coordinator for the University.
In his second season as an assistant coach at the University of the Sciences, Scott is responsible for assisting in every facet of the program. He recruits new student athletes to the university, conducts on court teaching, presents scouting reports to the players and other coaches, and uses skill development drills to better the current team. In the 2014-15 season, the University of the Sciences became nationally ranked for the first time in school history as a NCAA Division II member.
As the Meetings & Events Coordinator for the school, Scott is responsible for organizing all events on the campus for outside organizations. In addition, he works with other departments on campus to ensure all events are properly set up. Scott also assists with the budget, planning meetings on campus, and completing purchasing and work orders.
Scott is on the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee at The University of the Sciences where he helps choose the new inductees.
Prior to arriving to USciences, Scott worked at the University of Pennsylvania in the Athletic Department as an Operations Assistant. While at Temple, he worked for the Philadelphia 76ers, Charlotte Bobcats, Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Union, and the Temple University Men’s Basketball Team.
