Program Description

Combined Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sport & Recreation Management and Master of Science (MS) in Sport Business

In collaboration with the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies and the Graduate School at Temple University, STHM offers an accelerated 4+1 undergraduate/graduate program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management and a Master of Science in Sport Business.  The accelerated degree program will consist of a minimum of 112 semester hours of undergraduate course work, a maximum of 12 (twelve) semester hours of graduate coursework to count towards both the undergraduate and the graduate degrees.   Upon successful completion of the fourth year, students will receive a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management.  In the fifth  year, students will complete 24 credits of master’s coursework to complete the graduate degree requirements. At the end of the contiguous fifth year, students will receive a Master of Science – Sport Business. Students will complete the requirements for both degrees in five years.

In collaboration with the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies and the Graduate School at Temple University, STHM offers an accelerated 4+1 undergraduate/graduate program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Tourism & Hospitality Management and a Master of Tourism and Hospitality Management (MTHM).  The accelerated degree program will consist of a minimum of 112 semester hours of undergraduate course work, a maximum of 12 (twelve) semester hours of graduate coursework to count towards both the undergraduate and the graduate degrees.   Upon successful completion of the fourth year, students will receive a Bachelor of Science in Tourism & Hospitality Management.In the fifth  year, students will complete 24 credits of master’s coursework to complete the graduate degree requirements.  At the end of the contiguous fifth year, students will receive a Master of Tourism & Hospitality (MTHM). Students will complete the requirements for both degrees in five years.
