Karly Watson is a 2005 STHM Alumna with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is currently working for SMG, a leader in convention
and entertainment venue management with over 230 facilities across the globe.

Karly is an Event Manager at the Long Beach Convention and
Entertainment Center in California. The space houses an exhibit hall, two theaters and an arena. As an Event Manager, she acts as the main
liaison between clients and the venue’s operation departments. During the planning stage she works closely with clients to determine event
requirements and communicate those needs to facility departments to ensure successful events.

In addition, Karly is the main point of contact
for the client on site. Her position requires a great deal of multi-tasking and is extremely versatile, particularly because of the varied space
that is available in Long Beach.
