Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management (2002) and his Masters of Education in Sports and Recreation Administration (2008) at the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management and is currently the Assistant Director of the IBC Student Recreation Center, Temple University Fitness (TUF), the corporate fitness center at TASB, and all of the programming that takes place within these facilities. Chris supervises Three full-time staff – our Fitness Coordinator, and the Operations Managers at TUF and at TASB. Additionally, he directly oversees the 70+ student staff that are employed at the IBC and TUF. They see approximately 3,500 patrons every day during the semester and every day it brings new challenges. Planning student staff trainings and programs/events, customer service initiatives, handling facility problems, and dealing with equipment issues are always topics at the forefront of his job day-in and day-out.

Currently, Chris is working closely with the Fitness Coordinator in preparing and implementing a brand new Personal Training program that they will start to provide here at Campus Recreation this year. They also just wrapped a major upgrade of strength equipment for the 1st floor of the IBC this past spring.
